I have found a workaround for this in the ETOPS app and will \u00a0release an update to the store anytime now.<\/p>\n<p>in the mean time I have disable the SIGMET data download from the server side, so one could expect the following \u00a0error to show in the ETOPS App.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0&#8220;Error in downloading SIGMET&#8221; \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If your app keeps on quitting unexpectedly, please perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disable the internet on your iPad (or disable 3G for only the ETOPS app)<\/li>\n<li>Goto iPad Settings -&gt; ETOPS<\/li>\n<li>Flick the &#8220;Reset Application\u00a0Data&#8221; switch to &#8216;On&#8217; (This will only put the App to its default settings and clears caches and saved routes..)<\/li>\n<li>Restart the App<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently I&#8217;ve noticed that the SIGMET Data Download could cause the ETOPS app to unexpectedly stop.
